PlusPley Video Fantasy Game

Introduction

Welcome to PlusPley Video Fantasy Game ("PlusPley", "we", "our", or "us"), operated under Purani Dili Talkies LLP. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("T&C"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our application.

Eligibility

  • Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.

  • Jurisdiction: Our platform is available to users where our activities are legally permissible. By participating, you confirm that your participation does not violate any laws or regulations applicable in your jurisdiction.

  • Verification: You may be required to provide government-issued ID and tax identification numbers for verification to participate in real-money contests.

Account Registration

  • Accuracy of Information: You are required to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Multiple Accounts: You may only register and operate one account. Any attempts to operate multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination of your accounts.

User Conduct

  • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any fraudulent, illegal, or unethical behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, using automated scripts, bots, or any unauthorized third-party tools.

  • Fair Play: We maintain a strict policy against any form of collusion, manipulation, or unfair play that could give certain users an undue advantage.

Gameplay Rules

  • Game Objective: The PlusPley Video Fantasy Game allows users to forecast the engagement of social media videos based on Views, Likes, and Comments.

  • Prediction Competition: Two users compete against each other to predict the engagement (views, likes, and comments) of a video. The user whose prediction is closest to the actual engagement of the video wins.

  • Scoring System: In the PlusPley Video Fantasy Game, users compete by predicting the engagement metrics of social media videos, specifically Views, Likes, and Comments. The scoring system is designed to evaluate the accuracy of users’ predictions based on the actual engagement data of the video.

The scoring for each contest is calculated as follows:

  • Views: The total number of views on the video is divided by 1,000.

  • Likes: The total number of likes on the video is divided by 100.

  • Comments: The total number of comments on the video is divided by 10.

The final score is the sum of these three components.

Example Calculation: If a user predicts that a video will have:

the score will be calculated as:

In this case, the user’s total score would be 112 points.

The user whose prediction results in the score closest to the actual engagement metrics will be declared the winner of the contest.

  • Contest Types: We offer both free and paid contests. Users can join these contests to compete for rankings on the leaderboard.

  • Leaderboard: The leaderboard ranks users based on the points they have accumulated through accurate forecasts and engagement activities.

Financial Terms

  • Entry Fees: For paid contests, users must pay an entry fee using real currency. Payment methods supported may include credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and third-party payment processors (e.g., UPI, PayPal).

  • Winnings and Withdrawals: Winnings from real-money contests will be credited to the user's account and can be withdrawn in accordance with our withdrawal policy. Withdrawals are subject to identity verification processes, and any applicable processing fees will be disclosed to the user during the withdrawal process.

  • Taxes: Users are responsible for reporting any winnings to the relevant tax authorities in their jurisdiction. PlusPley may deduct taxes at the source where required by law, such as when winnings exceed a certain threshold.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • User-Initiated Cancellations: Once a user joins a contest, they cannot cancel their participation, and the entry fee is non-refundable. Users are advised to review all contest details before joining.

  • Contest Cancellations by PlusPley:

    • Technical Errors or Glitches: In case of a technical error or system malfunction that disrupts a contest, PlusPley reserves the right to cancel the contest. In such cases, the entry fee for paid contests will be automatically refunded to users' accounts.

    • Insufficient Participants: If a contest fails to meet the required number of participants before the contest start time, PlusPley may cancel the contest. In such cases, the entry fees will be refunded.

    • Fraud or Suspicious Activity: If PlusPley detects any fraudulent or suspicious behavior that affects the integrity of the contest, the contest may be canceled. Refunds may be processed after an internal review.

    • Third-Party Platform Dependency: As PlusPley contests rely on data from third-party platforms like YouTube, we are not responsible for any changes in video engagement (views, likes, or comments) that occur after a contest has concluded. The results of the contest will be based on the data available at the time the contest ends.

    • Video Removal: If a video used in a contest is deleted or made unavailable before the contest concludes, the contest will be marked inactive. In such cases, any entry fees for paid contests will be refunded to the user’s wallet.

    • Refunds:

    • Refunds are processed only in specific circumstances, such as technical issues on our platform, third-party video removals, or cancellations initiated by PlusPley.

    • All refund requests are subject to review. If a user’s request for a refund is valid, the refund will be credited to the user’s account in the form of in-app currency or to the original payment method, at PlusPley’s discretion.

    • Refunds are not applicable for user mistakes, such as incorrect predictions or contest selection.

    • PlusPley reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the outlined criteria or in cases of misuse or violation of these T&C.

Taxes

·      Goods and Services Tax (GST): A 28% GST will be applied to any deposits you make into your Unutilised Account as per the applicable Indian tax regulations. The GST amount will be visible during each deposit, and you can track it under the ‘My Transactions’ section of the app.

Example:

  • If you deposit ₹1,000 into your Unutilised Account, a GST of 28% will be applied.

  • The total GST on this deposit would be ₹280, so you would be charged ₹1,280 in total, with ₹1,000 added to your account balance.

·      Tax Deducted at Source (TDS): A 30% TDS will be deducted from your Net Winnings (NW) whenever you withdraw from your Winning Account. Here's how the Net Winnings (NW) are calculated for withdrawals:

o   First Withdrawal of the Financial Year (FY):

  • NW = X - (Y + Z)

  • Where:

    • X = The amount you are withdrawing from your Winning Account.

    • Y = Total non-taxable deposits made into your Unutilised Account until this withdrawal.

    • Z = The balance in your Unutilised and Winning Accounts at the start of the FY.

Example:

  • You decide to withdraw ₹50,000 from your Winning Account.

  • You have deposited ₹20,000 into your Unutilised Account (non-taxable) over the year.

  • Your Unutilised and Winning Account balances at the start of the FY were ₹5,000.

  • NW = ₹50,000 - (₹20,000 + ₹5,000) = ₹25,000.

  • TDS will be deducted at 30% of ₹25,000, which is ₹7,500.

  • You will receive ₹50,000 - ₹7,500 = ₹42,500 in your bank account.

o   Subsequent Withdrawals within the Same FY:

  • NW = X - (Y + Z + W)

  • Where:

    • X = The total amount withdrawn from your Winning Account till now, including this withdrawal.

    • Y = Total non-taxable deposits into your Unutilised Account until now.

    • Z = The opening balance in your Unutilised and Winning Accounts at the start of the FY.

    • W = Net Winnings on which TDS has already been deducted from earlier withdrawals this FY.

Example:

  • Your first withdrawal of ₹50,000 in the FY already had a TDS deduction of ₹7,500.

  • Now you wish to withdraw another ₹30,000.

  • Your NW is calculated as:

    • X = ₹50,000 (first withdrawal) + ₹30,000 (new withdrawal) = ₹80,000.

    • Y = Non-taxable deposits of ₹20,000.

    • Z = Opening balance of ₹5,000.

    • W = ₹25,000 (NW from your first withdrawal).

  • NW = ₹80,000 - (₹20,000 + ₹5,000 + ₹25,000) = ₹30,000.

  • TDS will be 30% of ₹30,000 = ₹9,000.

  • You will receive ₹30,000 - ₹9,000 = ₹21,000 for this withdrawal.

o   End-of-Year Calculation: If there are any amounts left in your Winning or Unutilised Accounts at the end of the financial year (March 31), and you haven't withdrawn all your Net Winnings, the following calculation will apply to determine any outstanding TDS:

  • NW = (X + U) - (Y + Z + W)

  • Where:

    • X = Total withdrawals made from the Winning Account during the year.

    • U = Balance in your Winning and Unutilised Accounts at the end of the FY.

    • Y = Total non-taxable deposits made during the FY.

    • Z = Opening balance in both accounts at the start of the FY.

    • W = Net Winnings for which TDS has already been deducted.

Example:

  • During the year, you withdrew ₹80,000 from your Winning Account and had an opening balance of ₹5,000.

  • Your non-taxable deposits during the year totaled ₹20,000, and at the end of the year, you had ₹10,000 left in both accounts.

  • NW = (₹80,000 + ₹10,000) - (₹20,000 + ₹5,000 + ₹25,000) = ₹90,000 - ₹50,000 = ₹40,000.

  • TDS will be 30% of ₹40,000 = ₹12,000.

  • Even if no further withdrawals are made, ₹12,000 will be deducted as TDS from your balance on March 31.

·      Year-End Winnings: If you do not make any withdrawals during the financial year but have a Net Winnings balance as of March 31, a 30% TDS will be applied to the balance in your Winning Account. This TDS will be deducted automatically.

·      Future Tax Adjustments: If the Indian government changes the applicable tax rates or modifies the rules surrounding TDS on winnings, we will comply with the new regulations. Users will receive TDS certificates for any deductions made, and it will be their responsibility to manage any further tax obligations, such as income tax or gift tax, as required by law.
